What a thrilling read! Here's what I loved about this book: it was easy to read, it was absolutely captivating and adventurous, and, above all, it was an amazing story, with an unbelievable cliffhanger ending!
From the very first chapter, this book was on the go, fast paced and entertaining; and at the same time it was easy to follow. It had a 'supernatural' feel to it, in the sense of the multiple personality issues; and a crazy lunatic scientist on the loose.
The bonds between the characters was heartfelt, and wonderfully written. Maria did an amazing with her characters. Jack has amazing gifts, and when the truth of how he got them is revealed, its an unbelievable shock. I love Sky's feistiness - she is such a fierce spitfire with a heart of gold; and Chairman, a gentle soul, has a maddening past that's a true puzzle.
This is an amazing and captivating story, and I'm truly excited for the next instalment.
